Maharaja Banquet Hall in Naigaon East, Mumbai, offers a spacious venue with a seating capacity of 300 and a floating capacity of 450 guests. The hall provides amenities such as valet parking, bridal dressing rooms, and allows for overnight weddings. Its location opposite Don Bosco School makes it easily accessible. The venue is suitable for various events, including weddings, engagements, and corporate functions. Operating hours are from 7 AM to 12 midnight.

I am writing this review after a week. Intially banquet owner demands for 1.40L & 10k as a deposit (Total = 1.50L / 140 pax) with menu of 2 welcome drinks / 2 appetizers / 5 main course item / Gulab Jamun & small cup Ice-cream (dessert), the amount is including with 10 to 12 servers who only welcoming guest by giving them Drinks - properly served in tray & appetizers in tissue paper into guest hands, is this a service called? by giving food items on guests hand? I don't think so.
Unfortunately, we have paid just because of monoploy of Banquet Halls in Naigaon East. Still it's not a sit back & relax thing because they have their another charges for booking of hall i.e. through out the marriage (most likely 12hrs) per 1 unit of electricity charges is 20 rupees (my 12hrs unit is 250unit X 20rupees = 5000/-) which is chargeable post completion of the marriage. Finally the day has arrived we took charge of the hall @5.30pm in the evening. Guests are coming and the servers are so confused they don't even know for which purpose they have appointed & what they are doing. Mistakes is not happeing with the servers but only from their hall's female staff servers they are so lazy in their work they don't wanna walk & give appetizers & welcome drinks to guest, maybe because of their makeup might be get dull. I have to call them & instruct to give appetizers, drinks to my guests because of their lazy nature.
However, male servers are doing good but the female servers are not interested in service anymore & also they are confusing male servers too. In between of these one of my guest called me & asked for Jain food. I contact their so called Office guys for Jain food appx 7 to 10 pax, this time Banquet owner is avaialable in premises while on booking time he keeps his clever & brain washed employees. I am not blaming them they are just doing their duties for which they are getting paid. I asked for Jain food with the owner he starightly said, "NO, abhi toh khana bann gaya hai, sham ka 8 baj raha hai possible hi nahi hai" - is this a behaviour in such auspicious event or a relation/repo which he buiding with the client?. I don't agree with his statement I had argued with him, "aisa vyavhaar nahi hota hai kahi bhi agar aap itna bada hall leke kaam kar rahe ho toh usme thoda bahot samjh ke lena padta hai". After a lot of argument he finally agrees & said, "chalo thik hai mai karta hu", here I appreciate him with his 30min of saying YES for Jain food of 7 to 10 pax. My guests are incresed of 20 to 22 pax I don't know who they are, I confirmed with both the side mine as well as groom. They have neglected stating that, "don't know about them". After all it's my event hence I have to do whatever it takes. Again I went to their so called Office on the same floor asked for increased in plate quantity, again he said,"20k toh apko abhi ka abhi dena hoga tab jaa kar mai 22 plates rakhunga" - I knew it, so this time I am not astonished with his words & I paid 20k again for 20 to 22 plates of dinner of unknown people (But kya yeh vyavhaar hota hai??). I take this as a blessing & move forward to next. My all guests had their dinner, food was very tasty said by my most guests. I'm feeling very happy.

Here Bride & Groom were sat down on the same chair on which rest of the family memebers have seated. I am feeling quite low here for both Bride & Groom.
So, I had my dinner male servers are did their best, at the time of having food all of them have given their best, I appreciate them with the tip (apprx. 17 pax).
Finally @3.00am midnight marriage is started completed in 1 hour, @5.00am in the morning we had vacate the hall.
My overall review for Maharaja Hall Naigaon East is, if you wanted to book marriage hall you should have total payment with you (maybe part payment can be allowed, such misbehaves can be happen in between the marriage, hall owner also feel fear of loss of money but as I said before he enjoys Hall Monoploy in Naigaon East & playing master stroke alone). If you know each one of your guest then you should book blindly, but seriously this much surety you have. Total 100 people are coming, "all are healthy, all are coming in count, they won't bring any other", is this right, not possible at all we never know how much people are coming. However, in my time I still don't know who they are (22 pax). You should prepare for serving with yourself to your guest because as I stated their female servers are so Lazy & very touchy to their makeup. Any increase in no. of plate or slight Food type changing time you should bear with your own. Because, I stated what owner said before (said yes after 30min of argument). Your Bride & Groom should be ready to sit on normal plastic chair at the time of having food (on this auspicious day of their life). You should be ready financially while vacating the hall in the morning with 5k in your pocket (I dont't think any of the hall people's are charging this Electricity Unit Charges in mumbai, but yes it's possible when you are in Naigaon East with only Maharaja Hall).
I have 1 suggestion in above scenario that, the owner can manage such small changes or mistakes in his hall. Rather than spoiling of someone's very special day he can manage na small situations which he knows too that he will get paid for this & I also agree that I'm gonna pay him extra but it's all about to, "Vyavhaar jo iss hall owner ko maintain nahi karna hai". He said this in betweeen while having argument.
If you are ready to face such Hazardous Tasks on your speical day after paying 100% Payment in advance you should book with Maharaja Hall Naigaon East.
